When managing your inbox in your support system, closing a ticket once it is resolved is essential for organization and workflow management. Follow these steps to close a ticket:

Step 1: Navigate to the Inbox

  • Open your support system and go to your inbox where all received emails or tickets are listed.

Step 2: Identify the Ticket Status

  • Each email or ticket will display an icon in the top right corner indicating its status (e.g., "Open" or "Closed"). If it shows "Open," it means the ticket is still active and requires action.

Step 3: Close the Ticket

  • To close an open ticket, locate the checkmark (✔) icon on the top left side of the ticket.

  • Click the checkmark to change the status from "Open" to "Closed."

Step 4: Confirm Closure

  • Once clicked, the ticket status will update to show "Closed," indicating that the ticket is no longer active.

Following these simple steps helps maintain a well-organized inbox and ensures that all tasks are appropriately managed.
