Changing Your Knowledge Base Subdomain

Learn how to customize the subdomain for your Knowledge Base to match your brand identity.

Customizing the subdomain of your Knowledge Base is a great way to personalize the URL and make it easily identifiable for your users. Here’s how you can change your Knowledge Base subdomain directly from the settings.

Step 1: Access the Settings Menu

In the sidebar, navigate to Settings. This section provides options to customize various aspects of your Knowledge Base.

Step 2: Go to Knowledge Base Settings

Click on Settings, and a dropdown menu will appear. From the dropdown, select Knowledge Base. This will open a new window with all settings related to your Knowledge Base.

Step 3: Update Your Subdomain

In the Knowledge Base settings window, locate the Subdomain field. This field displays your current subdomain ending with '.ourkd.help'. To change the subdomain, simply edit this field with your desired name.

Step 4: Save the Changes

Once you’ve entered the new subdomain, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button. If the subdomain you selected is available, the changes will be applied, and your new subdomain will be updated.

Important Note:

If the subdomain you choose is already in use, you will be prompted to select a different one. Make sure to pick a unique and relevant subdomain to represent your brand effectively.

By following these steps, you can successfully update your Knowledge Base subdomain, making it easier for users to access your content.
